Thankful by the Numbers

Earlier this week, we were blessed with getting featured on the great website, Women on Business with this post about some fellow women business owners. It was a perfect way to feature what these women are thankful for, and how they are giving back to their communities. While I was counting my blessings, I took a few minutes to actually count out some of our achievements since our launch a year ago. The year has definitely felt like a whirlwind–I guess there are reasons for that.

In the spirit of Thanksgiving, I am thankful for the impact rosieMADE has had in our local economy, on small manufacturers and artisans across the US, and in the community of women business owners we have brought together.

In 12 months we have:
Spotlighted over 40 Real Life Rosies
Promoted another 25+ businesses through giveaways of almost $2,500 in products.
Featured nearly 70 businesses in our directory
Bought product from 22 vendors and services from another 6 vendors
Sponsored 3 women’s conferences
Attended over 10 trade shows and markets
Provided raffle and auction items to dozens of non-profits
Brought in 10 consignors into our store
Provided opportunities for 20 additional vendors to exhibit during special events like our Grand Opening, our October Girl’s Night, and our “shop” in our shop Saturdays.

That’s almost 200 businesses that we have impacted in one way or another! For me, the most exciting thing is thinking about what we can achieve in another 12 months with your continued support!
