MADE in the USA Gifts by Women Friendly Businesses. Our Story.

Shows, Shows, Shows

Shows, Shows, Shows

Whew! We just wrapped up 4 shows in 3 states over 2.5 weeks. Needless to say it’s been busy and exciting! Here is a quick run down of the fun!

At each show we gave away samples of our 70% dark organic chocolate, our decals that help show support for USA made product and the rosieMADE mission, and BPA-free “Red Rosie” water bottles, as well as a gift basket valued at more than $100! We were ecstatic to meet fellow entrepreneurs, Rosie the Riveter fans, and connect with new friends.

Buy Idaho Capitol Event: Held in Boise’s Capitol Building, this was a great chance for us showcase our products and mission to an interested audience! We met some amazing contacts, and loved meeting other women entrepreneurs who are doing wonderful things to impact their local economies! The capitol building is beautiful, and this event gave us a chance to really enjoy it!

Northwest Women’s Show:  Seattle is such a beautiful city, I can’t wait to go back soon! Held at the CenturyLink Event Seattle Booth 1Center in Seattle, WA, this expo lasted three days, giving us plenty of time to meet some wonderful attendees and get to know our fellow exhibitors. I especially connected with our neighboring booths, and look forward to developing our new relationships with them. I had two amazing friends that have known me most of my life (scary to think how long that is!) help with the rosieMADE booth. I am extremely blessed to have these two wonderful ladies in my life, and really enjoyed the time we spent catching up! They made adorable rosies, too! I missed Ella and Michael, and the trip seemed like forever away from them, even though it was only four nights. I drove across Eastern Oregon and through Washington, which was a great reminder of how gorgeous both states are, and how lucky I am to live in such a beautiful part of the world.

Empowering Women Conference: While I was in Seattle at the Northwest Women’s Show, two our our team members attended this two day event for rosieMADE. They had rave reviews of the sessions, and enjoyed getting to know other women in business.

PDX BoothPDX Women’s Expo: For those of you who have been to Portland during sunny weather, you know how picturesque this city is! We were lucky enough to have fabulous weather, which made the entire weekend absolutely wonderful. Since Michael grew up in the area, and I lived there for over five years, it was a great homecoming for both of us! The show had a great energy to it, and our booth was right across from the wine and the liquor tasting booths, which made for great traffic and plenty of entertainment. I loved this show for a lot of reasons–the overall engagement of the attendees was high, our mission was well-received by those who stopped by our booth, and the day went by very quickly. I’m sure it also helped that I had generous help in my booth–my aunt, my mother-in-law, and my cousin’s wife all offered up their time and support! It was great to have friends stop by our booth, too. There were wonderful local businesses who exhibited, which made me excited and optimistic about our focus on made in the USA products.

As much as I enjoyed the last few weeks, I look forward to sleeping in my own bed and getting back to business as usual!
