“A career in product development exposed me to overseas factories, so I chose a new path.”

Tell us about yourself
I majored in Industrial Design at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. A career in product development exposed me to overseas factories, so I chose a new path. A winter engagement to my college sweetheart led to planning an American made wedding.

Research concluded that there were enough USA made products available to plan the event. Many stores carried a limited supply of USA made goods, so I opened ten total bridal registries. Similar obstacles arose when shopping for USA made fashion and decorations.

To make the process less overwhelming I created My Registry Project as a source for brides planning the USA made wedding.

Proudly USA made, both locally coded and designed, My Registry Project would not be possible without the support of designers and small businesses producing USA made and embellished goods. I am always on the lookout for more USA made products and invite designers to join My Registry Project’s USA Made Designer Database. For more on the American made wedding, please visit
