I’m Arianna Russell and I’m the CEO and inventor of Bodacious Cases. I am the owner, manager. I do everything from take phone calls, respond to hundreds of emails a day to packaging product and putting things together for social media.
My background is in entrepreneurship. Not the normal college education, I learned mine from my parents who are both entrepreneurs. They have 2 businesses and they are the Wicker Fixer’s www.wickerfixer.com and my mother publishes Antiquing We Go, which is an Antique Directory in Southwest Missouri. I graduated high school and decided to follow my dreams instead of college.
What inspires you? Being told no inspires me. Being an American inspires me. Being able to walk, talk, breath on my own inspires me. Being told that I’m a young female, not a huge company and if I stay Made in America I won’t succeed, that is what inspires me. My parents inspire me to follow my dreams and to do whatever I want.
What are the most pressing issues facing women today? There are many, but the main thing I see if being a women and a lot of people say that if you’re a women trying to do a “man’s job” you can’t do it. BULL!
What are the biggest keys to your success? Working hard and not giving up.
Where did the inspiration for your business come from? A hot tub on the 4th of July. I thought I lost my phone and I didn’t. Best lost/unlost phone I’ve ever had.

What advice do you have for a woman who is considering starting a business? Never give up. Surround yourself around the right people and do what you have to do to follow your dreams and make the life you want!
What are the biggest hurdles you have faced in starting or growing your business? How did you overcome these? The biggest hurdles I have faced is being told I can’t do it because I’m a young female, and that if I stayed in America I wouldn’t be successful. I overcame it by following my heart and getting the right people around me to help me get there.
