Where did the inspiration for your business come from? I was lost in a sea of unflattering spandex bike shorts, tired of heavy metal racks and baskets so I was inspired to start Eleanor’s. I launched the business in April 2012, and named after my and my husband’s grandmas—ladies who shared a moniker and an enthusiasm for bicycling. Online, you’ll find unique, versatile items for fashion-savvy bikers. Helmets that are cute, not clunky. Clothes you can bike to a party in and still be the best-dressed person there. Gear that says “chic French girl”—not “Tour de France.”
