Million Jobs Project
I’m starting to realize what a small world (or small America) it can be. A business colleague from my “old life” connected me with someone who buys USA made, then shares his finds with his email distribution list (including me). He sent me this great video entitled Million Jobs Project, which does a wonderful job of explaining the impact that consumer spending can make to create jobs here in the USA–jobs for our neighbors, our friends, or even ourselves.
Now, the reason I’m mentioning that it’s a small world–when the video gets to the end, it lists Alex and Ana Bogusky as the creators. Ana was featured as a Real Life Rosie, sharing great information with our audience. She also referred me to Frank Crumley with American Made Baby, with afforded me the opportunity to be interviewed for his show.
If you watch the video, you’ll be asked to share this video with two people within 24 hours of watching it. If everyone did this, the whole country will see it. I’m really glad someone (I’ve never met) shared this video with me, so I could have access to the great information. More importantly, I’m grateful that Ana and Alex Bogusky created it, to share an important message.
As Americans working together, we can build better ties with our neighbors and strangers alike, creating living wages for every American. Will you share this message?

Small business is now, and has been, the backbone of our economy!

I would love to buy made in USA products. Can anyone tell me where to find a TV made in the USA? A ceiling Fan? And so on. I have been very frustrated trying to find products made in America. I spent an hour in Sears going from rack to rack trying to find clothing made in America – no luck. The same with bathroom towels, etc.

Nancy,
We’re working on building additional resources into our website to make it easier for people to locate the products they want. Personally, I’ve found it virtually impossible to buy USA made from big companies (for apparel, I do like Nordstrom and American Apparel for USA made). We run giveaways from great companies who are manufacturing in the USA. Hopefully you’ll find some of what you are looking for here. Thanks for making American made a focus and for leaving a comment!
