Living Organic at its Finest!

I just had the most amazing meeting with MaryJane Butters! She is such an inspiration, and her outlook on business and the world is so refreshing! She has been a pioneer her whole life, with becoming one of the first women wilderness rangers in the US, being involved in organizations for the causes she believes in, and being on the forefront of organic farming. She is friendly, engaging, and insightful. Most of all, it was refreshing to meet someone so generous! She offered up ideas and solutions, without desiring anything in return. She shared anecdotes of her mentors, her business, and her life.

MARYJANESFARM Magazine has been published for the last 11 years, she’s the author of numerous books, she has an organic bedding line, an organic food line, and has created a Farmgirl Sisterhood with almost 17,000 members. As if that wasn’t enough to keep her busy, she has a retail store and bed & breakfast, as well as a U-Pick Club. I don’t know how she has time to sleep—but all of that organic farming and eating must be treating her well—she looks happier and healthier than most women 10 or 20 years her junior.
