I’m always excited when I stumble upon something that helps put important information into perspective! Women Deliver is a global advocacy organization bringing together voices from around the world to call for action to improve the health and well-being of girls and women. This organization has put together some great infographics around the theme Invest in Girls and Women: Everybody Wins.

Here’s the infographic on equality, showing there is plenty of opportunity left for equality, if each of us commits to it!

Of course, living in the USA, I am grateful that the inequalities here are less grievous. Once American women are in greater positions of power (corporate leaders, political leaders, top wealth-holders, etc.) in large numbers, they have the ability to create change for other women, which in turn, creates improvements for humanity as a whole. To me, looking out for other women is a primary responsibility each of us has, especially when we consider the large-scale social implications it can make! On a small scale, it improves lives. On a large scale, it has the power to reduce poverty, increase quality of life, save lives, and more.

It’s exciting to think how much opportunity can come from investing in girls, women, and equality!
