Audrey Clymer is an artist and a healer, and the designer behind Looney Moon Art. She has always been creative, whether it was making up stories about fairies or mermaids, cooking, weaving or taking photographs. As a healer, she has spent the past 30 years helping people to heal through her psychotherapy practice. After helping clients manage the grief of 9/11, she broadened her healing talents to include drawing, painting, printmaking and collage. When creating, she says “I invite in the muses of the elemental and natural world to help me put my dreams on paper.” The themes of her artwork reflect the colors and images in nature.
During this past year, Audrey was blessed to become Nana to a beautiful baby boy named Benjamin. As the family began preparing for birth, she began painting dragonflies, turtles and loons on onesies. As she expanded her painting for the retail market, she made the decision to paint exclusively dragonflies, since they so wonderfully reflect the incredible beauty of children. She brings a unique blend of artist and healer to every piece of clothing she creates, just as every child brings their unique gifts to the world.
