Excited to be featured in The Angelos of Kappa Delta!

For those of you who were involved in the Greek System in college, hopefully you had a similar experience to mine–a great adventure and experience. I pledged Kappa Delta my freshman year of college, and had the unique experience of being a founding member of our chapter at the University of Idaho. It was an experience filled with chaos, excitement, fun, friendship, and sisterly love–and the occasional drama that comes with 57 college-aged girls living together. My experience with a sorority gave me great insight, helped me further my leadership skills, and opened doors for me. I got to know and appreciate more KDs during my exchange to Bowling Green State University, and then my attendance at a national convention. After graduation, I’ve continued my involvement, by being on a Chapter Advisory Board and participating and leading Alumnae events.
The Kappa Delta motto is “Let us strive for that which is honorable, beautiful, and highest.” I’ve always set goals, and done my best to achieve them. Through my experiences, I realized how important it is to help others achieve their goals–which is an important aspect of rosieMADE.
I’m really excited that Kappa Delta has included me as a featured “KD Ladies Who Launch” in the Summer 2013 issue of The Angelos! There are many great ladies showcased in this article, and I’m honored to be included!
Many of my sorority sisters have been major supporters of rosieMADE from the very beginning. Every day I am thankful for my blessings! Today, I am especially thankful to be a KD!
